Occupational Summary
A Level 4 apprenticeship in Senior housing and property management prepares apprentices to manage and deliver housing and property services across social and private sectors. Apprentices work in roles such as Neighbourhood Housing Manager, Voids manager, Lettings Manager, Resident Involvement Manager, Neighbourhood Investment Manager, Assets Manager, Supported Housing Manager, Property Manager, Incomes Manager and Leasehold Manager. They manage a specific function and associated team(s) with delegated authority, plan and allocate resources to deliver business objectives, ensure contractual, statutory and legal compliance, engage with the wider organisation, communities and external partners, and take responsibility for service quality, cost-effectiveness and continual improvement.
This Level 4 apprenticeship comprises 30 KSBs (knowledge, skills and behaviours), typically lasts 18 months and has a maximum funding of £9,000. End-point assessment is via Portfolio of evidence, Observation, Presentation with questioning, Interview and Project report.

The senior housing and property management occupation in both social and private housing sectors is responsible for the management and delivery of housing and property related services within their business and service area(s). The role involves the management of resources with delegated authority to deliver the business objectives. The work must comply with contractual, statutory and legal regulations. The senior housing and property manager manages a specific function and associated team(s) whilst working with the wider organisation, team, communities and external partners. Senior housing and property management professionals are proactive in finding solutions to problems and identifying areas for improvement. They take individual responsibility for the overall quality and cost effectiveness of their business and service area(s) and the needs of stakeholders.
